Well we got married! December 9, 2009. It was a great little ceremony with most of our families and a couple of my really close friends! I couldn't have asked for a better small ceremony! Of course I still want to have our big one, well, bigger one, cause I want to feel like a princess! But having it in a year gives me more time to plan and more time to work off the baby weight I feel I still have a lot of. But we had the ceremony at the courthouse, and then we all went out to dinner at Garcia's. We had good food, got to hang out and talk, and Jeff and I sat in the middle of our families so it wasn't weird for anyone but we could still talk to both sides. Jeff's mom made us an awesome red velvet cake, which we got shoved into our faces. But that's the only time I know of that I've had a red velvet cake, and turns out I really like it! Very tasty, that's for sure!! I tried hard to not have it shoved in my face, but he chased me around the room with it, so I grabbed two pieces and covered his face!! I had cake up my nose and couldn't breathe even!! haha Then his dad was nice enough to pay for a room for us that night. And man, it was awesome! We had a huge tub, which could fit like, ten people into it, and that was upstairs, then we had a fireplace and tv in a living room type thing, then the bedroom with a HUGE bed. The most awesome part was that we got to sleep!! haha It was great cause we didn't have to worry about Isabella waking up in the middle of the night, so it felt great to be able to sleep through the night. I was real worried at first about leaving her for the night, but I made it through it, and so did she. Which is good, but I still missed her. So far being married doesn't feel any different, except for when I call him my husband rather than boyfriend or fiance... But that's the only big difference so far!
My family left to go back to Missouri today, it was good to see them but also really good to have the house back to normal. Way too many people to have in one house for longer than a week!! haha I'm glad they made it up here though. My sisters and mom and I went and had pictures taken together, that was fun and I'm glad we did. We don't really get to do anything just the four of us. Not that it really was just the four of us, Amy's youngest son was there, but it was just us that were in the pictures.
Jeff's still planning on joining the Army with Wendy's husband Chad. Turns out I'm not the only one who would rather Jeff join a different branch of the military. Quite a few of his family isn't happy about it either, which its not that I expected them to be, but its good to have other people say that to him. He says I worry too much, which is probably true, but really, its hard not to.
Anyways, thats all the news so far. Here are a few wedding pictures for everyone!
