Mother's Day!
Well today was my first official Mother's Day! I got spoiled! Axel was technically one of my gifts, then I also got a new purse, gift card, a couple books, a couple little things that have Mother quotes. Then my Mom and I went to dinner and to see "The Last Song." It was really good! I liked it. Not top 5 material, but it was good! :) The best thing of all is getting to spend time with my baby girl. Its amazing being a Mommy. I love watching her grow up, even if it is going way too fast! I've never felt more right with any decision I made, I love being Isabella's mom and I wouldn't have it any other way. Even in the middle of the night when she wakes me up, I still couldn't imagine anything greater.

Axel
We have a new addition to our little family! A little pug! He's a cutie! He's a little crazy sometimes, but overall is a really good dog. Isabella loves crawling after him, but then it makes him think she wants to play, so he'll try to jump up on her and lick her and she doesn't like that, so then we get him to stop, and she goes after him again! We decided to name him Axel, Jeff likes to think its because he's named after Axel Rose, but he's not, I just liked the name. haha But if that's what got him to like the name too, then that's fine.
Isabella is crawling! (I can't remember if I posted when that started) Its insane. I knew it was coming because I knew she wanted to for like a month before it happened. Now however, she never stops! Its just crazy. Soon she'll be talking, walking, and she's growing up so fast! I knew everyone said it would be fast, but its just crazy how fast it all feels like its going.
We're planning our trip to Missouri. The second week in June. I'm excited. It'll be Isabella's first time meeting my dad. I hope it'll be fun and that she'll love it. We're going so early in June in the hopes that it won't be too extremely hot. At least it won't be as hot as if we were to go in July, and I really don't want Isabella to get too hot or anything. Jeff leaves for basic in two more months. Its getting closer, pretty crazy! Its going to be really weird to have him gone, but it'll be a good thing for our family too, so that's what needs to be the focus. That's pretty much all the updating I have for now. Everyone better think Axel is as cute as I do! :)

Nothing new to really update...
Hey everyone! This won't be a super exciting post, there's nothing new really going on right now!
Isabella hasn't started crawling yet, but that doesn't stop her from moving all around the room! She scoots backwards and rolls herself wherever she wants to go! Still no teeth yet, but I think it should be soon. I still can't really get her to eat her baby food, when we first started her on it, she loved it!! Then for whatever reason, everytime we try to give it to her, she cringes and doesn't want it. I'm not really sure what else to do to get her to eat it, I do every trick to get her to open her mouth, and its still not any easier. Oh well, we'll get there soon. It'd be so much easier if I didn't work so many days a week, cause Jeff doesn't really like to try as long as it takes to get her to eat any of it, so he usually just gives her a bottle. My mom bought her a swing set, its an early birthday present. I drove all around town trying to find a park with baby swings, and there are seriously only like, 2. Its so lame because those parks are the ones that are the busiest! So she got her that, and its a good thing because she LOVES her swing! I'm so glad we've got one. We took her to the kite festival over the weekend. She loved that! She's silly, she loves having the wind blow in her face, so she really enjoyed it being so windy. And of course she had to check out all the kites, she thought it was pretty cool! It will be way more fun next year for her cause they had one of those big inflateable bouncers for kids and a little spot where they could make their own kites, so when she can actually take part in that, it will be more exciting for her! She's getting so big though, its crazy! She's such a smart happy little girl, well, for the most part! She's been a little sick, so she hasn't been the best all the time, but I don't blame her!
Let's see.... We were going to get me a new car before Jeff left in July for basic training, but I think we've agreed to wait until he gets back. Not that we can't afford to do it before, just so we've got more time to find the right deal and we'll have to get on our own insurance, so we really need to check out insurance companies, so we've just decided to wait so we can research things a little more.
Then pretty much he's just been studying things for basic training since he doesn't leave until July...
For me, I've been working. I hate working as much as I do, but someone's got to do it. I've been cooking a little more, nothing too exciting. I did make some carrot cake, which was good, not at moist as I would have liked, but it wasn't horrible at least. Everyone who had it liked it. We're trying to plan a trip in June to head to Missouri. I'm hoping for the first or second week, but we're also going off of my Aunt and her kids, so hopefully one of those will work out for everyone. I wanted to do a trip to California before Jeff leaves for basic training too, but he wasn't really up for that one, so that won't be happening this summer. Hopefully after he gets back, we'll see. I really want to take Isabella to the beach! I think she'll love it!
Anyways, that's pretty much all I've got right now. I did update my other blog a couple times recently, so if you're interested, find the link I posted on here and check that out! Here are a few pictures of Isabella. :)

Easter... Forever later...
I figured it was about time I post about Easter. I know, SO late! We colored Easter eggs, they were supposed to turn out camo, but that didn't work very well at all.

So then on Easter we woke up, after Isabella's FIRST full night in her crib! Yay! That was great, the first time I got to sleep ALL night. Not that she wakes up a lot, but it was nice not having to wake up at all. So then we went and found Isabella's and Jeff's Easter baskets and the Easter eggs.

Then after we got ready for the day, we went to brunch with my mom and Barry at Garcia's. On Easter and Mother's Day, they always do a freaking great brunch! Its soooo good! Isabella was really good pretty much the whole time we were there, mainly because she really liked sucking on watermelon rinds, so if she got whiney we just gave her one of those! Then we came back home and my mom came over and gave Isabella an Easter basket from her, and she got SPOILED! Of course she got spoiled even on Easter!! haha.

Then I had to go to work. It was soooo slow though so I wasn't there for that long. So overall our Easter was really good!!
Since then, I've just been working. If you didn't see my other post, Jeff is officially in the Army now. He leave July 12th. We've started looking for a new car for me before he leaves. And at motorcycles because he really wants one, and is hoping that I get one for him before he gets back, but we'll see how that goes. :)
Isabella is rolling still allllllllllllllll over. She's going to be crawling all over the place soon!! She's even starting to pull herself up with things. She's getting soooo big! It makes me so sad looking back at her pictures from when she was only a few weeks old, but I love every second of watching her grow up! I just wish it wasn't so fast!
Anyways, that's all for now. I really need to be bad about updating this! No wonder hardly anyone checks it out!! haha

Recent picture post
Alright, so if you read my post earlier, it said Jeff was probably leaving this week to go to MEPS. Which is where he takes the ASVAB test and gets his physical and enlists. Well, we found out he is going this week he leaves Thursday!! Crazy right!? So by Friday he'll be all enlisted in the Army!!
Anyways, this post will be mostly pictures! I didn't have time earlier to put them in there. We got family pictures/Easter/Isabella's 6 month pictures. I decided to do family ones too because Jeff will most likely be at basic training for Isabella's first birthday. Which SUCKS! But he'll be back soon after at least.

There's a few of them. I think they turned out really good! Plus the ones I used with my new background!

6 months
Isabella is a whole 6 months old!! Oh how time flies!!! Hopefully the next 6 months aren't as fast! But I'm sure they will be! It feels like just yesterday she was brand new! Only... not really cause well, she's lots bigger than she was when she was born! We had her 6 month appointment yesterday, she weighs 17 lbs. and is 27 in. long!! She's in the 84th percentile for weight and 96th percentile for height! She's finally got rolling from her back to her belly down, so that means she's rolling, rolling, and rolling!! Soon she'll be walking and talking too! Hopefully not too soon, but sooner than I would like.
Jeff finally got all of the stuff taken care of that he needed to before going to the Army. So its all starting to happen pretty fast now. He's probably leaving this week to go to MEPS. Its great that its all finally starting to go through and to happen.
I'm still just working pretty much. I've stopped my online classes for now, turns out it was not a good time to start taking them. Which is fine, I'll go back to them when Isabella is a little older and not as dependent.
My mom got married over the weekend! Which means she is now living with Barry, which leaves us with the house all to ourselves! Which is nice until Jeff gets back from basic training and all that. Then we'll see what happens after that, and won't have to worry about paying rent while he is gone.
That's about it right now. I'll post some pictures to update later.

Laura for Real
I started a new blog!! I started to write a big ol' opinionated post on this blog, but really, this one is about me and my little family. So I thought I'd start a new one where I can share my opinion with those interested, rather than those following this one just to be updated on our family. Feel free to check it out!
http://www.lauraforreal22.blogspot.com
Be warned though, that blog is ALLLLLL my opinion, and so for the most part, I will NOT be holding back. If I talk about people though, I won't use names, but ya know, that doesn't mean it won't be obvious.
You were warned. ;)
