Barney's hot spring

My sister in law, Kelly, lives out in Howe, and not too far away from their house, is a small waist deep hot springs. So Isabella and I drove out there for a visit a couple weeks ago, and went swimming and ate dinner with them. It was really fun to hang out with them, and to chat with Kelly. Here are pictures of our swimming trip. Then about a week later, Kelly and her boys came and stayed a night with us. It was really fun, especially for Isabella to have people here to spend time with! She had so much fun with them. Then, before Kelly and her family left to go home, we drank some together, we tried a chocolate covered cherry shot (SO good), white russians, and a pineapple upside down cake martini! We both got a little drunk, but it was fun! But Kelly's husband, Steve, had to work the next morning, so they had to get going home, so he drove since Kelly really couldn't. haha That was really the first time I've drank since having Isabella. Not that I've ever been a big drinker, but still. :)

It's been fun being able to hang out with them! Isabella has so much fun with the boys, I'm really glad she's getting all this time to spend with her cousins!

Jeff in basic training

I can't believe I haven't even posted this yet. He's been gone more than a month, and I'm just now getting to it! Lazy lazy me... haha

Jeff left here July 11 to go to Montana, where he had to get a physical, and do MEPs again just like he did a few months ago. Then at the end of that week, he went down to Georgia. He was stuck in processing for another week and actually went into basic training on July 23. I've gotten quite a few letters from him, basic doesn't seem to be as bad as he thought. Which is good. He says its insanely hot there, which I can only imagine. He misses Isabella, and it makes me sad. He's really afraid she will forget him, and he says it in every letter. I know she won't and I know she misses him, and it makes me sad that he is feeling that way. He can't shave his head, he can only get the haircuts with everyone else. Which I wish I could see because I've never seen him with hair, and I know he hates it. haha

His graduation is October 29, and Isabella plan on going. I'm really nervous about flying with just me and her. I've never even flown by myself really, there's always at least been someone else I know on the plane. Plus with all of the stuff I'm going to have to take for her. Ahhhh. I hope it works out. I really want the rest of this time to fly by. I hate having to wait for letters. Although, I will be getting a weekly phone call from now on, so I'm happy about that at least!!

4th of July... finally!

So now that its the end of the month... Here's our 4th of July post!! haha

Let's see, on the 2nd, we went over to my mom's for dinner. We got some fireworks, and Isabella loved those! She was a little confused at first, but she eventually liked them.

Then on the 3rd, Isabella and I went to the parade (it was too early for Jeff- haha). We went with my mom, Barry, Wendy, Crystal and Aiden. That was pretty fun. Although we couldn't stay for all of it because I had to go to work. Isabella had fun dancing with me to all of the music that the floats had!

Then later that night, we went to see the fireworks with my mom and Barry down at the river. That was a lot of fun! We went and got a lot of of food, and Isabella got some glow necklaces and a glow sword. She had so much fun, she got to eat some cotton candy and everything! She loved the fireworks, at first. She was tired, since it was past bed time, so she got a bit antsy, but she was still really good!

Then! On the actual 4th of July (cause apparently Idaho Falls can't celebrate it on the day of) we just had a relaxing day! We took Isabella and Axel on a walk, and that's pretty much the only time we went out! :)

So that was our 4th of July weekend! Finally! I've got a few more posts I need to get on here, so those will come soon!

Father's Day!

This was Jeff's first Father's Day! I had to work, so I went to work and left Jeff with Isabella, so they got some Father/Daughter time in! Then when I got off work, Jeff went to his Dad's to spend some time with him! Hopefully it was a great first for him, I know he wants to spend as much time as he can with Isabella as he can since he leaves in a few short weeks! He's been a great Dad! She loves her Daddy, and I can see why, she's got him wrapped around her little finger!! :)

After Jeff left to his Dad's, Isabella and I headed to my Mom's for a bbq! It was fun, and we had some GOOD food! Isabella loved eating watermelon! It made her all sorts of happy!

That was Father's Day this year! Nothing too exciting, but it was a good day! I feel blessed to know so many amazing fathers! My Grandpa, my Dad, my step-dad Mike, who I wish could have been here, my new step-dad Barry, and Jeff! All exceptionally great guys, and fantastic dads! Its so great to have/have had each of them in my life!

Trip to Missouri

Well Isabella and I are back from Missouri! And in case you weren't sure before, I have the BEST little girl ever! She had her times where she was pretty cranky, but overall, she was so great! It was really hard for her to comfortably sleep in her carseat, and then she didn't get to nap as much as she's used to, so that made her have her cranky times, and I completely understand! But other than those few times she was great!
We got there late the first day, so we just got a hotel room and hung out there, then the next morning we went to see my Grandma! It was the first time she was meeting Isabella.

Then Isabella and I went off to see my Dad, Aunt Frankie and Uncle Bob. Also their first time meeting her! We hung out there for a bit, and they have a lot of those animated stuffed animals, so Isabella loved playing with those! Then we left to go to dinner at Bob Evans, where Isabella got some smiley faced potatoes for dinner that were pretty cute! Then we went to Wal-Mart cause my Aunt wanted to buy us some things, they got Isabella some cute butterfly clips, a new outfit and a toy vaccuum. Then they got me a new Cardinals t-shirt, since ya know, they're the greatest baseball team ever, and the new book by Stephanie Meyer, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, which I finished and is really good! Then we went back to my Aunt and Uncle's house and hung out there until we went to sleep. Then we had to get up to go back to the hotel to meet up with my Mom and Aunt Debby before check out. (They only had two nights at that hotel because the Miss Missouri pageant was happening! haha) So we got some pictures, and Isabella and I headed back.

Then we got back and I picked them up and we went to our new hotel, then went to see my Grandma again, then went to the store to pick some things up for her. Then we took Isabella to the park, since she LOOOOOOOVES swings! She loved the baby swing, but she really likes swinging on someone's lap since the person swinging can go higher than she can in the baby swing. She also went down the slide for the first time by herself. It kinda scared her the first time, and then she loved it the next few times, but she was tired, so she started just crying as she went down.

The next day, my Aunt Sharon came to visit, so we took my Grandma out to lunch and to get some new outfits! She picked a yummy place for lunch and found two outfits, and two nightgowns she really loved when we went shopping! It was fun to see my Grandma so excited to get out! Then after my Aunt Sharon went home, we went to dinner at my Great Aunt Jan's house with her and my Great Uncle Jim. After that we took Isabella swimming! She loves the water, we found her a princess floaty at the Walgreens there so we broke that out and she loved it too!

And then we went to go shopping at the mall! I ordered a new swimsuit before going that didn't come before we left, so we went to find me a new one because I realized my swimsuit from last year was a little too big (from the prego belly last summer!) so we wandered the mall for a little bit, had lunch at Cracker Barrel, and then a pretty low key evening until my sister Amy and her family got there to visit! The next day, my sister April got there with her family, so we went to see my Grandma and hung out there for awhile just chatting and playing with Isabella and Jordon, who are the two youngest of the group! Then we all went out to dinner, and then spent the rest of the evening swimming. This time I dunked Isabella under water! My Aunt Debby had been trying to explain to me how to do it, but I was sooo scared! So Amy did it first, and I saw how much she liked it, so I sucked it up and did it! She loved it! She came up all smiley and laughing a few times!

On the last day we were there we ALL went to see my Grandma again, then out to the cemetary to visit my Grandpa's grave again, and then we went to a little Mexican restaurant there, and then we got on the road!

So that's pretty much our whole trip! It was so good to see all my family, I wish we were able to be there longer and to be able to go do more while we were there, but it was still great!

Short update!

Not really a whole lot to update with, but I figured I should with a little something!!

Isabella is crawling ALLLLLLLLLL over the place!!! She pulls herself up and walks along things all the time now! She speed walks on her tip toes when you hold her hands, its pretty cute. I think she'll be walking soon! Way too soon!! We went today and played in the kiddie area in the mall for the first time. She seemed to really like it. There were a few too many older kids so she didn't get to go all over it like she wanted to, but she had a good time.

I've still just been working, a lot. Way more than I want to. Isabella and I leave on Sunday with my mom and aunt to go to Missouri. I'm excited, I really need a vacation. I wish Jeff were going with us, but he's not really able to go with us. He needs to stay and work out at the gym, which is good since he leaves in just a few weeks for basic training. Its coming up sooooooooooo fast, I can't believe it! The only good thing is I won't have to work all the time, for one, I won't be able to, since Jeff won't be here to have Isabella and two I just hate not being able to spend very much time with her. I'd much rather hang out with her than work any day. :)

Anyways, that's really all we've got going on. Like I said we leave for Missouri on Sunday, so after that week, I'll post some pics from then! Here are some pics from our first trip to the zoo though!
